James Harris<\/strong> is the Pier Historian and Community Event Liaison for Santa Monica Pier Corporation. An important part on the Pier since 1989, he established the foundation of his knowledge about the Pier and its people, and never stopped learning. His writing credits include stage plays\u00a0An Illegal Start<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0“Save the Pier!”;\u00a0<\/em>the children’s book\u00a0Stella Rose and the Sea Dragon<\/em>, occasional columns in\u00a0Santa Monica Daily Press<\/em>\u00a0and the Pier’s official history book,\u00a0Santa Monica Pier: A Century on the Last Great Pleasure Pier.<\/em><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n
