Life at the Miramar<\/h2>

2011 \u2013 2014<\/strong><\/p>

The images and documents in this exhibition are from the start point of open space (circa 1874) deed of land purchase by Senator Jones from Col. Baker.<\/p>

The Miramar served as a center of activities and social gatherings of the Jones and notable guests, pageants and outdoors theatricals which continued after The Miramar became a hotel, in 1924, transformation of landscape, city development up through 1890\u2019s till Senator Jones death in 1912.<\/p>
