The next\u00a0Discover the History lecture in our 2017 series will be Tuesday, August 15th at 6:30pm<\/p>

Our lecture will focus on the history of the lesser known Cheetah Club. \u00a0Transformed from the Aragon Ballroom in 1967, the Cheetah Club hosted some of the most iconic acts in Rock’n Roll history. \u00a0In its short run, the venue would see the likes of Ike and Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, and many more.\u00a0<\/p>

We hope you will join us for a lecture on this hidden treasure! Our lecturer will be museum volunteer and archival intern:<\/p>

\u00a0This program is free<\/strong> and open to all ages. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis. \u00a0This event will be held at the Santa Monica History Museum, 1350 7th St, Santa Monica CA 90401. \u00a0The museum can be reached by following routes to the Main Library.\u00a0 The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, 7, R7, R10 and 18. Ride your bike? Bicycle parking racks are available at the library. The Santa Monica History Museum\u00a0is wheelchair accessible.\u00a0<\/p>
