The next\u00a0Discover the History lecture in our 2018 series will be Saturday, January 20th, at 3:00pm. This event will be a panel discussion on the history of Providence Saint John’s Health Center.<\/h4>

Speakers will include:
John R. Sellman, MD<\/strong>
Past Saint John\u2019s Health Center Board of Directors (1991 \u2013 1997), and its treasurer from 1995-1997, elected Chairman effective November 1, 1998. Past president of the medical staff in 1985 and 1986 and chairman of the Department of Surgery from 1988-1990. Dr. Sellman is an orthopaedic surgeon and first physician to lead the Board.\u00a0He joined the staff in 1971.<\/p>

John M. Robertson, MD<\/strong>
Saint John\u2019s Health Center Board of Directors (2015\u00a0\u2212\u00a0present).\u00a0\u00a0Past Chairman, Saint John\u2019s Health Center Foundation Board of Trustees 2012-2014.\u00a0Foundation Trustee since 1996.\u00a0Director of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Saint John\u2019s, past president of the Medical Staff in 2000\u00a0\u22122001. Dr. Robertson joined the staff in 1987.<\/p>

Sister Maureen Craig, SCL<\/strong>
Sister Maureen, St. John\u2019s archivist, came to Saint John\u2019s in 1987 following a long career as an English teacher.\u00a0 Sister has served as chaplain to the Foundation, the Physicians Alumni Association and the Cleft Palate Program.\u00a0 She also serves as a foundation trustee.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>

Robert O. Klein<\/strong>, President and CEO of Saint John\u2019s Health Center Foundation, will introduce the panel.<\/p>
