Join us from 3 PM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, July 20 as we invite a panel of experts from the California Historic Route 66 Association to explore the intricate history of California’s Route 66 and some of the most memorable stops along the way. ​

Panel Speakers:

• Scott Piotrowski – Born outside of Cleveland, Scott Piotrowski moved to Los Angeles in 1996, roughly following Route 66 on his journey and falling in love with the people and places that make up the highway. Ever since he has focused his Route 66 preservation and promotion efforts along the Route 66 corridor in Los Angeles County while advocating for a new perspective for the future of Route 66. Piotrowski is currently the President of the California Historic Route 66 Association.
• Lynne Miller – began her love affair with Route 66 while taking the “roads less travelled” to visit a friend in New Mexico.  After completing a trip across the entire Mother Road, she joined the Board of California Historic Route 66 Association and has served as both Secretary and Treasurer.  She was a member of the four-person leadership team for the Route 66 Needles to Barstow Corridor Management Plan – the first step in securing federal Scenic Byways status. Lynne has attended eight International Route 66 Festivals that take place yearly in different Route 66 states.
• Teresa Stamoulis – Founded The Stamoulis Group, a firm which specializes in the Destination Marketing arena, bringing real-world sensibilities and solutions to organizations and professionals in the travel field. Current and past clients include:  Destination Lancaster (CA), Six Flags Magic Mountain, US Travel Association, North American Journeys, California Travel Association, City of Ontario, and the bureaus in Marina del Rey, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, Catalina Island, West Hollywood, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. She has also worked with Los Angeles World Airports (LAX) when they managed the Ontario International Airport. Tere’s connection to Route 66 began with her firm created the County of San Bernardino’s Route 66 & Beyond program targeting the international market.
