Discover the History: Santa Monica Aviation, January 10th!
On Thursday, January 10th at 6:30 PM, join us for a very special panel discussion as we explore Santa Monica Aviation. The panel of experts will speak for 1 hour on the topic and, afterwards, will engage in a 30 minute Q&A with the audience.
Panel Speakers:
- Randy Bresnik – Fixed-wing and rotary-wing pilot, US Army 1st Air Cav, Vietnam Vet (2 tours), 1st Battlefield commission of the Vietnam War, retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Chief Pilot.
- Kim Furst – Award winning Director/Producer/Editor of films including “Flying the Feathered Edge” featuring Harrison Ford & Bob Hoover. The film was the recipient of the Combs/Gates Award for the National Aviation Hall of Fame. Kim was also Editor of aviation documentary film “One Six Right”.

This program is free and open to all ages. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis. This event will be held at the Santa Monica History Museum, 1350 7th St, Santa Monica CA, 90401. The museum can be reached by following routes to the Main Library. The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, 7, R7, R10 and 18. Ride your bike? Bicycle parking racks are available at the library. The Santa Monica History Museum is wheelchair accessible.
