The Santa Monica History Museum collects and preserves the history, art, and culture of Santa Monica Bay Area and is the guardian/caretaker of its history. The Museum aims to provide public access to its historical collections through interpretive exhibitions, on and off-site programs and archival and research services for youth and adults

VISION
Through images, artifacts, maps, and architectural plans, Un/Housed will illustrate how housing policies, availability, architecture, and cost have shaped the development of Santa Monica as a city and community.
Un/Housed: A HISTORY OF HOUSING IN SANTA MONICA
This exhibit will tell the story of housing in Santa Monica and how it shapes each individual’s civic and community life
Sponsorship of Un/Housed offers the opportunity to connect with over 5,000 visitors during the course of its exhibition, including local residents and tourists. In addition, the Santa Monica History Museum boasts a mailing list of 3,000 subscribers and a social media reach of over 1.7 million.

Ally Sponsors provide support for tours, community outreach, and social media engagement. The sponsor will recieve two tickers to the exhibit opening VIP reception and our annual event in October, Stand Ups for History. A generous donation of $5,000 supports one week of the exhibit’s programming for museum visitors of all ages. Friends receive two tickets to the VIP exhibit opening reception and our annual event in October, Stand Ups for History.
