Discover the History - Life in a Japanese-American Internment Camp

Join us Saturday, September 14 from 3 to 4:30 PM for our next Discover the History as Ted Tanaka leads a thought-provoking discussion exploring his family’s life during World War II at Camp Manzanar which was one of 10 incarceration centers operated by the War Relocation Authority to detain Japanese-Americans.

Speaker: 

Ted Tanaka

Ted Tetsudo Tanaka is a Japanese-American, born in West LA. He with his immigrant parents were interned by the US government during WWII. He is a consultant to US-EU biotechnology companies to develop and market their next-generation drugs through creating joint ventures in Japan. Ted is a Harvard-Westlake School past Parents’ Association president.
