Annual Gala Tribute Dinner

Gala time is here!

The Santa Monica History Museum is hosting its annual gala dinner at the Miramar Hotel & Bungalows at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 17th, 2017.

From 5pm-8pm, guests will be able to participate in a silent auction and raffle, as well as enjoy dinner and cocktails as the museum honors outstanding community members, Michael Sullivan of LAcarGUY, and Judi Barker of Barker Hangar/Santa Monica Air Center Inc. The evening will also feature a special tribute to museum founder, Louise B. Gabriel.

Dinner tickets are $175 per person.  Raffle tickets are available for $10 per ticket/$50 for 6 tickets, and attendance is not required to participate.

Michael Sullivan is the owner of the LAcarGUY family of dealerships, a group of 13 award-winning dealerships and state of the art automobile repair/body shops. Founded in 1974, Mike has been a leader in the Los Angeles auto industry and has earned a reputation of outstanding customer service, community involvement and environmental stewardship. He and his family have been long standing community supporters, participating in the annual Heal the Bay beach cleanup and trash free lunch programs. All of this is in addition to his support of local charities that include the Hermosa Beach Concert Series, the Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Races and the Rich Stone Family Charity.

2017 Honoree Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan is the owner of the LAcarGUY family of dealerships, a group of 13 award-winning dealerships and state of the art automobile repair/body shops. Founded in 1974, Mike has been a leader in the Los Angeles auto industry and has earned a reputation of outstanding customer service, community involvement and environmental stewardship. He and his family have been long standing community supporters, participating in the annual Heal the Bay beach cleanup and trash free lunch programs. Judi is devoted to the community and maintains the Hangar as a tribute and a cultural representation of this beautiful city we call home.
